Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > I have a few questions before I jailbreak.

Hey I was hoping to ask a few questions before I Jailbreak.
1. I have version 4.3.5. Do you know how long it will be before I can Jailbreak it without it being tethered?
2. Do I have to reboot every time I install an app from Cydia? If so, would I have to go through the entire reboot process if I was using 4.3.5? Using redsnow to reboot, Hold the sleep and home screen buttons etc.
3. What happens if my iphone breaks and I cant connect it to Itunes to reset it? Do I just have to hope that they don't void my warranty?

Hi John,

1: Unfortunately it will be a while until they untether 4.3.5. When iOS5 comes out, that will be untethered.

2: Some apps do require you to restart when being installed, but usually only the first app you install requires you to reboot, and the rest do not. (Restart springboard is something you may see if you do decide to jailbreak. This does not require redsn0w to start back up.)

To answer the second part of your question, yes you will need to use redsn0w to reboot your phone, however, it does not re-jailbreak. It simply starts your phone back up and only takes a few seconds.

3: If your phone messes up or you don't like the jailbreak, there is a almost 100% guarantee that you will be able to restore it in iTunes. (As long as the device is not physically damaged.) If it is physically damaged, and you cannot restore it using iTunes, than it is more than likely that the apple store would have no way of knowing you jailbroke in the first place (since it would be broken.)

I hope that helped! Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
