Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > cydia is stuck on reloading data, what do i do?

so yeah, its stuck on reloading data and when i click the home button nothing happens.....

This is a guess, but there might be an issue with one of your sources. To check that:

1. Cancel the "downloading" bar at the top when Cydia first opens, to prevent the "reloading data" alert from popping up
2. Go to manage > Sources
3. Remove all sources except for the default one, BigBoss (should be http://apt.thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia/)
4. Reload Cydia and let the "downloading" bar complete its cycle. Let "reloading data" pop up and see if it works normally.
5. if this fixes the problem, add back all sources you were using one by one, reloading after adding each one, to track down the problem source.

If this doesn't work, you could always reinstall cydia by re-applying the jailbreak.

My iPhone 4 did that... I fixed it buy holding the power button for 3 seconds, and then held both the home and power until it turned off, then I turned it back on.

My iPhone 4 does that often so i figured it how. Just CONNECT it to ITUNES then click RESTORE BACKUP.
NEVER RESTORE IPHONE cause it will force you to update your iphone and its hard to find latest jailbreaks for that.

You can do a hard reset by holding both the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPhone turns off and starts back up.

If using ios 7/8 swipe up by four fingers, close cydia and reopen it. Then remove cydia substrate. Install your tweeks one by one again. This solved mine.

Press the power and home button for 10 seconds, and then your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad will show the apple logo. Give it a while and then the lock screen will appear. And that's it! I learned this from my mom. :)

I turned mine off while it was updating something on Cydia and it just doesnt turn on and connect to iTunes!!! None of the resets work. It just turns on with the apple and stays there!! I dont know what to do
