Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Unjailbreaking 5.1.1 ipad

Good day!

I have the new ipad with cellular, it's OS is IOS 5.1.1 and it's jailbroken. but now i need to unjailbreak it because i think i am having problem with my network being intermittent and sometimes my camera doesnt focus.

now, i tried to do it with your video using tiny umbrella, but iTunes says that THE FIRMWARE I DOWNLOADED is not compatible.
this is the file i downloaded "iPad3,2_5.1.1_9B206_Restore"

i dont know if i am doing it wrong or it is impossible to restore jailbreak 5.1.1. to unjailbreak 5.1.1 if it is impossible, i might just upgrade to iOS6.

thank you in advance.

Did you try the instructions in this video?

Also for the record: the problems you're describing wouldn't have anything to do with using jailbroken firmware.

Good day sir, yes i did try them step by step. :)

That is why i want to put it back to 5.1.1 to show the apple store the problem. :) i dont want to go to ios 6 becuase it is intermittent, if it doesnt show up in the apple service centr, i can stick with it and jailbreak it again. Hehe.

The errors is that the firmware is not compatible.

Thanks for your reply. :)

Sorry, I don't have an answer for you then. It sounds like you're using the correct firmware package to restore from to me. Maybe Luke will have some thoughts if he sees your question

It looks like the newest version of redsn0w should allow a firmware restore from and to the same version without upgrading. I've never done it, nor am I familiar with the steps, but this may point you in the right direction at least:
