Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Getting 'unknown error 11' when trying to downgrade iPhone 4

I have an iPhone 4(GSM) running IOS 6.0.1 with baseband 4.12.02. I am trying to downgrade it to 5.1.1 (actually I have tried all IOS's from 4 up to 5.1.1 including custom made IPSW's). Each time I try I usually get an "Unknown error 11". I have tried 3 different cables, 3 different ports on 4 different computers. A couple of times I got to about 95% of an upload (only with custom IPSW's) when it fails from an unknown error. I have used Sn0wbreeze & iREB to get it into DFU mode and Tinyumbrellla for the server. Have tried custom IPSW's thru Sn0wbreeze using all methods to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions I can try? The only restore I can successfully complete is letting iTunes do an 'restore and update'.

Follow up information: The different computers I have used had either XP, Vista or Windows 7 for Operating Systems.

Sorry, I'm out of my depth with this one. I know the newest version of redsn0w can do what you're asking using saved SHSH blobs, though: http://blog.iphone-dev.org/

This isn't something I've done myself, but a quick google search gave me this guide, which looks correct: http://www.iclarified.com/25182/how-to-downgrade-your-iphone-4-from-ios-6x-to-ios-5x-windows

Keep in mind i'm assuming you have an iphone 4, NOT an iphone 4s. There is currently no way to downgrade the firmware on an iphone 4s from 6.x to 5.x.
