Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Facebook, Words with Friends, etc...

I thought by jailbreaking my iphone3 that I would be able to install a Facebook app, Words with Friends, and other games that I couldn't install with this old iphone.

Is there a way that on iphone3 with Cydia, that I can install these types of apps?

there are free versions of the apps you mentioned in the app store. Why are you unable to get them from apple's app store WITHOUT jailbreaking?

If you're talking about getting paid app store apps for free, yes, a jailbroken phone can do that, but it's not something that's supported or explained here.
