I'm having the same issue. I have an iPhone 4S, 6.1 iOS. Download everything correctly, open evasi0n, plug in iPhone and the 'jailbreak' button is unclickable. Almost like my phone isn't connecting to the software. Have tried re-installing, rebooting, and restarting. Nothing happens...

I just got it to work I didn't have iTunes installed and so I installed it and it worked

Yup, same thing. I downloaded iTunes and had it running while I opened evasi0n. Worked like a charm.
