Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Can I downgrade/Rollback my recent firmware 4.3.5 (8L1) to 4.3.3?

HI, I have recently hit the restore and upgrade button and my firmware now is 4.3.5 (8L1). Original was 4.2.1. Is there anyway I can rollback or downgrade? my itune backup does not show any earlier firmware to rollback.

Please help!!

Many thanks

Hi Royals, well the only way you can downgrade back is to have saved shsh with tinyumbrella or if you jailbroke a while ago you may have saved shsh with Cydia, so the question is did you jailbreak previously?

Yes, I have Jailbreak it before with firmware 4.2.1. How Could I able to check if I have saved shsh with Cydia?

download tinyumbrella from tinyumbrella home hook your phone up, start tinyumbrella click the advanced tab and check the "request shsh from Cydia" and hit the save shsh button. let it do its thing and then look in the General tab, see what firmware versions are listed.......then let me know.

After running tinyumbrella, I could not see any listed on General Tab "All Saved SHSHs". Does that mean I could not restore it??

The Log shows:

are you sure you had "request shsh from cydia" when you hit the save shsh button? if so ok you are pooched....when did you originally jailbreak it?

October 6, 2011 | Registered Commentertherealcmac

I got it jailbreak in March 2011 by someone. And now I loose all the installed apps as well as Cydia, Activator, whiteboard and etc. The only left is my contacts, emails, sms, and Photos.

FYI:
1. I startup the TinyUmbrella v.500.12
2. Highlighted the left bar "Show All SHSHs" --> the "Save ALL SHSHs" button turned on.
3. Checked on the "Request SHSH From Cydia". The rest checked off
4. The TSS Server was stopped.
5. Finally clicked on the "General" Tab. then clicked on the "Save ALL SHSHs" button ---> nothing shown.

hmm, if you jailbroke in march you should have some earlier shsh, when you open tinyumbrella and click on your phone you should see an ECID number somewhere in the right pane, let me know what it is and i can see if you have any saved, you seem to be having problems running the program :)

1) I am currently using WinXP MCE SP3. Not sure if this version is compatible with tinyumbrella-5.00.12a.exe?

2) Do I need to install any other program prior to run tinyumbrella-5.00.12a.exe?

3) I enable window firewall to unblock this program to run and connect to internet.

4) I looked into the log, something is not right. LInk error; this program could not detect my iphone4 when I connected to my computer.

5) I could not see anything iphone devices show in the General Tab screen.
