Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > IOS 5 untethered... seriously

it's been forever since IOS 5 came out. Did apple just figure out a way for a proper untethered jailbreak to be completely impossible this time? At this point I"m having a hard time believing anyone is even making progress.

I think they are waiting until apple releases a proper fix for the battery drain issue, then they will release the untethered jailbreak.

5.0.1 addressed the battery drain issue, didn't it? said so right in the patch notes.

Yeah, but not fully. 5.1 is coming soon which should finish addressing it. And that was just my guess as to why they have not released it. I don't have any insider info :P
