Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > 3GS 4.3.3 0 -> 5.0.1

I currently have a jailbroken 3GS at version 4.3.3. In order to jailbreak with redsn0w to a 5.0.1, do i first just upgrade the firmware to 5.0.1 then run the redsn0w?

You will need to restore to 5.0.1, then jailbreak. It is crucial that you restore, not update.

Are they stored on your computer? Or did you sync before you restore? I can help you restore from a previous backup if you did.
