Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Redsn0w starts but crashes during the Uploading First stage. It never gets past that. Tried 3 or 4 times.

Ipad 1 on 5.0.1.

If you are on windows try right clicking and running the program as administrator.

Ran as administrator. Same problem. Bars at the bottom of "Uploading First Stage" gets to end. Then, after about 20 seconds, the "Program must shut down, do you want us to report this" (or whatever that says) comes up. Does not get past "Uploading First Stage."

Hmm try disabling your antivirus.

Could not get it on my XP computer. Buy my wife's Windows 7 computer worked like a charm. Thanks for your help.
