My phone got stuck got stuck in a boot loop.So I used 'just boot' option on redsnow.My phone ended up in recovery mode.

Nevermind I jailbroke it.The reason my phone got stuck in a boot loop is probably cause I upgraded to iOS 5 instead of restoring to that firmware.Anyway I have successfully jailbroken my iPhone 4 iOS 5 thanks to your info.Cheers mate.
