Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > If I update to 5.1.1 on a jailbroken 3GS with an older firmware will I lose all of my contacts and messages ?

Sorry if the questions is stupid, but I'm kinda concerned about this.
I have a 3GS with jailbroken 4.0 firmware and i want to update to 5.1.1 and then jailbreak.

Nope! You won't lose anything. Just make sure you backup with iTunes (either with iCloud or just hitting sync in iTunes)
