Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Can my jailbroken iPhone 4 be unlocked to work with any carrier for free?

I have an iPhone 4 with 4.3.3 firmware already jailbroken. Is there a way to unlock it for free?

You can, but you will lose all GPS functionality (most likely forever).

Let me know if you want to anyway!

Oh, I see. May I know the steps to unlock?

We are building a unlocking website. Can you wait for that to be out or do you need the info now?

(will be out in 1-2 weeks)

Oohh, I can get the info before everyone else right now? That would be great! :D

Do you still want to unlock even though you will lose all GPS functionality forever? If so, I will walk you through it.

you are on an iPhone 4 so the only unlock options for you are official carrier unlock, or a Gevey sim card from applenberry.com, the method @Luke Abell describes is only available on a 3g or 3gs iphone :(

Whoops! I need to get my facts straight. Sorry about that!

@TheRealMac good catch!
