Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Is my Iphone 4 unlock

When I bought mi Iphone 4 my sim didn´t work on it so as I had Cydia installed I purchase ultrasnow which wasn´t installed, but the iphone still didn´t work so I call the one who sold it to me( as it was supposed to be unlocked) and he told me to synchronize it with itunes and then it worked...My question is, was the iphone already unlocked or it was Ultrasow which unblocked it, also I think its important to said is that I have a 02.10.04 baseband so ultrasnow shouldn´t work... I want to know whether my iphone is unlocked or not so i can update the software......

Pd: when I bought the iphone they told me that it had been bought to movistar arhapnd then unlocked so perhaps they did an IMEI Unlock

Possibly an IMEi unlock, or a carrier unlock, i know that carrier unlocks are activated upon restoring/syncing with iTunes. It DEFINATELY is not ultrasnow working.
