Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Rebooting on tethered ios5 stuck

I'm trying to reboot my iphone4 but when I plugged it in to my computer the initial Apple loading screen popped up and the phone is stuck in purgatory. It won't boot and I can't get it to shut off to boot with RedSnow. How do I get my phone to shut off?

you can just skip turning it off, just follow the DFU procedure.
