Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Why do I get no service after I insert my t-mobile sim card?

I unlocked my phone and I inserted my T-mobile SIM then it says it is searching and after a while it says no service.. How can I fix this?

how did you unlock? was it a carrier unlock? Jailbreaking and unlocking are not the same thing, your baseband of 05.16 is not unlockable. your only option for an unlock is to install the ipad baseband of 06.15, this does mean loss of GPS plus you will only ever be able to restore to custom firmware.
