Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Stuck on apple logo after 1st app installation reboot

My iPod 4g (5.0) is stuck on the apple logo screen after downloading my first cydia app and rebooting. Help?

You need to open redsn0w, click extras, then just boot - then follow the steps. (Hold down the sleep button and home button for 10 seconds, then just the home button for 8 seconds)

I had the same problem but I am still experiencing this problem after I open redsnow click extras and then click just boot...

Did you guys try to boot tethered using redsn0w? If so, what happened when you tried?
