i recently jailbroke my iphone4 on 5.0.1, but reminders turned white, and i downloaded winterboard and that also turned white? im not sure how to fix this or if it a common problem with the new jailbreak??? anyone has the same prob?? and what should i do?? should i restore and jailbreak again ?

Try reinstalling (or upgrading) UIKitTools from Cydia.

Well if it is an untethered jailbreak you can't restore it right?

Yes you can still restore and re-jailbreak regardless of the type of jailbreak.

When you first jailbreak your phone and you have a white icon here are two things that I do. If it's the very first time and you haven't downloaded any sources then just open up Cydia and because Cydia has to update their files it will automatically re-spring your device and it will go away. However, I would download "SBSettings" so that you can re-spring whenever that happens for you. Like BJORN said, usually re-springing your device is all that is needed.
