Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Hi I was wondering about the restore feature with the iphone 4

Dear people at Guide my jailbreak.

I really wish to jail break my iphone however I have 2 questions if you dont mind.

1. If I have contact information on my iphone and I want and need to keep those on my phone at all costs such as phone numbers names and such, Will restoring it back to factory settings on itunes if I were to bring it to an apple store, erase all my contacts and such since I am RESTORING it back?

and 2. If I choose to be able to get better and free internet through my iphone is there anyway that I can get in trouble if anyone at an itunes store were to find out. Also if I can turn it into a hot spot does this count in the area of how much internet I am allowed to download, like my internet limit?

-Thank you for your time and please respond ASAP

Hi there,

1. If you backup your phone before you restore you will not lose contacts.

2. If you tether there is a chance carriors like ATT and Verizon can catch you. If they do, they will simply email you and tell you to stop. If you don't stop after they email you they will move you to the tethering plan. Not everyone gets caught though.

2. PT 2: Yes, if you use the hotspot app it counts as your normal data usage. Hope this helps!
