Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Why cant I get rid of my jailbreak?

I jailbroke my iPod Touch 4G about 5 months ago, but now when I try to restore it iTunes says "Extracting Files" but my computer freezes there then crashes. All I want is an updated iPod, so I can re-jailbreak it.

I would not upgrade to 5.1, as the jailbreak is tethered. Wait for the untethered jailbreak before updating!
