Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > I did a hard reset on my iPhone 4s because the colors became washed out all of the sudden, then my iPhones screen went completely blank and a restore didn't work, could this be a dfu loop or something else?

After I restored, the screen stayed blank but the phone did a double vibrate every 3 to 4 seconds indicating it had just been plugge in to charge even though it was in the cable the whole time. It was an iPhone 4s jailbroken with absinthe 2.0.4. I went to apple and they replaced it because they couldn't restore it therefore there was no trace of my jailbreak, the only reason I won't jailbreak again is because I'm afraid this will happen again! Was it a dfu loop? Or some rare thing that hardly happens to anyone? Please give me an opinion on whether I should jailbreak again and if it was a dfu loop or a rare occurance. Thank you!

Hi Edward,

This is a very rare issue. I wouldn't be worried about this happening again.

Enjoy your new iPhone!

thanks so much! i might reconsider now that i have a second opinion. do you have any idea what could have caused it though?

No problem! This happened back in the day to me on my iPod with iOS 2.0-3.0 a lot. A lot of different reasons this could happen. I wouldn't worry about it though. You are the first case of this issue I've heard of in over a year.

Let me know if you have any other questions,
