Free iPad iPhone iPod Touch Jailbreak Support > Can't restore iPhone 4S through iTunes.... Frustrated..

All the videos on this website are outdated. My MacBook is running the newest iTunes, and my mac tells me there is a new version of TinyUmbrella but the website to update it looks sketchy. I attempted to just reset to factory defaults but it didn't work. This is very frustrating and I can't figure this out.....

When you jailbroke your iPhone, your /etc/hosts was modified. From the Terminal, open the hosts file on your Mac as su (root) and comment out or remove the line that includes "gs.apple.com". What this is doing is rerouting the location of the server that iTunes is trying to reach. It'll will never work until this is corrected.
